Koba Finance Devnet Launch

Koba Finance (“Koba”) is an all-inclusive crypto investment management platform designed for investors across diverse risk profiles to access various financial products regardless of sophistication. Today, Koba launched on Devnet for the public to test out the site!

Koba Devnet Launch User Walkthrough

What’s available on Devnet?

Starting with a vanilla covered call DeFi Option Vault (DOV), Koba’s Devnet launch aims to gather as much feedback as possible to identify bugs, user experiences and new feature requests.

Beyond just regular vanilla DOVs, next in the pipeline are interesting exotic vaults that will cater to users who are not only seeking yield, but are looking for solutions that can be a part of their strategic and/or tactical asset allocation. These are strategies that will offer different returns (e.g. downside protection, upside participation, coupons/yield) according to the user’s risk appetite and investment objectives.

These exotic DOVs will have multiple option legs and exotic features to offer non-traditional and interesting payouts that we are extremely excited to introduce to DeFi! More vaults will be launched on Devnet in the coming weeks, so do remember to follow us on Twitter/Telegram for the latest updates!

What do I need and how do I use the site?

  1. Ensure that you have a Phantom wallet installed on your browser (we like using Chrome)

2. Go to https://devnet.koba.finance/ and connect your wallet (ensure your wallet’s network is “Devnet”)

Connect Wallet

3. After connecting your wallet, airdrop yourself some Devnet SOL by clicking on “GET 2 DEVNET SOL” located on the top right corner of the site’s header

Note: The “GET 2 DEVNET SOL” button will only appear after your Solana wallet has been connected

With wallet connected, airdrop Devnet SOL

4. After receiving some Devnet SOL, choose the vault that you would like to make a deposit in

Select Vault

5. Input your desired deposit amount (ensure to deposit only the token that the vault accepts, in this case, it would be the Devnet SOL that you’ve just airdropped yourself for the SOL Covered Call vault)

Input desired deposit amount

6. Click ‘Deposit

7. Viola! You’re done!
